I Melt With You

I’ll stop the world and melt with you, I’ve seen some changes and it’s getting better all the time.

Good food, good music, great company. Mamimiss ko yung mga araw na kasama lang kita at wala masyadong iniisip. Here’s for so much more years to come.

We sat down with a big plate of pizza, the same one we had a year ago, and a liter of coke. I’m not sure if Greenwich’s pizza was improving, or if it just tasted better because they say things are sweeter the second time around. I wonder if that works for pizza too.

We don’t really know what the real anniversary is, but every few weeks we celebrate an anniversary, from the first time we had dinner together, or the first time we watched a movie together, or the first time we went to the park together, or the first time we went to mass together.

And I hope that we’ll keep celebrating firsts, until we’ll have our lasts. Together. Hopefully. And if not, I’ll always be able to say that back in high school, there was this boy, and he made me incredibly happy.

So the other night, I got home at 1 in the morning with a smile I couldn’t wipe off my face. Two years later, and we’re still doing the same things: listening to good music, and looking at the stars.. together.
